To go private, or not to go private, that is the question

So I have been thinking about going private. No I have not recieved any hate mail or anything like that. But I do have a counter that tells me who is looking at my blog, and let me just say, people are looking at it in cities and countries where I don't even know anyone there. And don't get me wrong, on the occasion I ,as well, look at random peeps blog that I do not know. But I am not a regular on them and I have been noticing regulars on mine. So, in the case that I do go private send me your emails and I will add you. NO ONE ELSE WILL GET YOUR EMAIL, I HAVE TO APPROVE COMMENTS BEFOER THEY GET PUBLISHED ANYWAY, SO I JUST WON'T PUBLISH THEM.

Rice-a-Roni a San Francisco Treat

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We had a good weekend with great family, fun sleepover, early morning shopping fully equipped with 2 fights (me not included), seeing a Chicago friend and being so glad I decided to put on make-up right before, naps, watching movies, finishing books and going to the Jazz game. Hope you all got to stuff your bellies and be with people you love this holiday.

I also got our New Year's trip planned, well most of it, and I am going to need some assistance in what we should do once we get there being that I just learned what fisherman's wharf was last week. Yes that is right, we are going to San Fran, heck yeah! Wooo whooo! And Karlee I am expecting you to tell me what to do out there since you should be an expert about it now.

I support our troops

In the past couple weeks I have learned that my friend's husband has joined the army and going into basic training and another friend of mine from Chicago has to take yet another long vacation courtesy of Uncle Sam. Since the war started I have learned that 3 of my ex-boyfriends have been to the middle east and friends from high school have gone multiple times before they hit the age of 25. We all have heard the stories both good and bad, happy and sad of the soldiers who are across the world, away from their families. I just want to let you all know I support our troops and the families that support them. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do.

Oh yeah we did

So I know what you are thinkin, what are the new kids doing on your blog? Well let me tell you, my kick ace cousin and I decided to be with the "in" crowd and totally rocked the new kids come back concert. Yes you did hear me right. Don't hate, I will allow you to be jealous, but don't hate.

So here we are, psyched as all get out ready to see our third grade (well, since Kaylynn is older I (not to rub that in or anything, she is far wiser than I as well) guess it is her third grade and my second grade) fantasies. They are even hotter now that we are no longer jail bait, but we are also married women and not THAT hot! Although they did mention that they like Mormon girls and married girls, we just happen to be batting 2 for 2!
And my lovely Kaylynn, as cute and button nose as she is had to listen to me chew her out part of the nigh since SHE forgot HER camera, so me being the saver of the evening had to take pics with my phone so this is what you get. Sorry they are not as good as the quality you would have gotten from her camera had she brought it!!!!
Lady Gaga (yes that is really her stage name, it is so sad too cause I really like her) was the very first opening act. She has some fun tunes. Then Natasha Bettingfield came out and we were surprised that she was an opening act for a comeback band. She also sounded so good, and I could seriously see her in concert as the main event! But let me tell you, New Kids, those boys put on a pretty darn good show themselves, crotch grabbin, shirt ripping, nerdy dancing, boy band singing, hitting notes as high as a 12 yr old boy, rhinestone wearing and all. Maybe some girls are really into the boys decked out in rhinestones though? I don't know. But we rock it all as well.

That night at dinner before the show Kaylynn was telling me about she was teaching her innocent little son to dance ie: the butterfly (hmmmm) and I made a little bit of fun of her. But dang, at the show she shook it like a Polaroid picture and I was quite impressed by what her mama gave her! That girl can move like a white girl if I ever saw one! Plus she made the whole concert like a kazillion times more fun! Thanks Kay you are the best!

Oh and I know what you are thinking, and yes most of the girls and boys at the concert were our age and older, but we did see a few parents who brought their kidlets along and those kids were the cutest things dancing I ever did see, and then when they fell asleep halfway through the show and stayed asleep when the arena was screaming so loud Kaylynn and I had to plug our ears, and Kaylynn had to tie her shirt around her waist to plug some more ears, these kids did not budge from the dreams. Amazing, I wish I could sleep like that. Oh and yes there were like 2 tini boppers, and guess where their tickets took them, oh yea that is right, right next to me! So we moved when the show started and got way better seats! They weren't even born when new kids were popular, I wanted to ask them how the heck they even knew who the New Kids were!! I am getting so old, I am going to come back concerts.... and enjoying them...oh no!

One of THOSE peeps...that's me!

Yes, yes, these are Christmas decorations that you are looking at. And no these are not from last year, well they might be, but we weren't here last year so I don't really know. I love this time of year, as soon and the little kiddles are done with there trick-or-treating I am whipping out the Christmas stuff. And I had to restrain myself because a month ago I was sick, and I couldn't sleep at 4 in the a.m. so I hightailed it down to Walmart to buy some drugs containing alcohol to knock my hinney out. And what did I see, the lucky Walmart employees unpacking all the sparkly Christmas stuff. Needless to say I spent 30 more minutes at Walmart than I wanted to so I could look at all the glitter and shine! And I suppressed my need to get right home and put up the tree. I also think that since we did not have a tree at the time might have helped.

All these stockings are for our future children...sike! I am a not so smart person who volunteered myself to make Christmas dinner for my whole famdamily. That is 10 people yo. Obviously, I didn't get the brains in the gene pool. I forgot to stand in line for that. Wish me luck! I already have started my menu.

Oh, and yes, that is Shrek the Halls on t.v. Totally cute, totally short. 22 mins to be exact. But it is one of my favorite Shreks and it leaves you wanting more!

Those are presents under the tree. None that I am giving, but I have already checked the names and I am receiving some! And I will not unwrap and rewrap them this year. My shopping will be done and wrapped by Thanksgiving though.
