Viva Las Vegas

This is a page from my Dad's blog. They came up from So. Cal. to celebrate Bill's b-day and also my dad's b-day. They ended up staying in the same hotel that we stayed in. Yes, we did gamble. We each got 100 pionts to gamble with at a independent casino, but the only way you get to keep the money is if you land on a jackpot. I got up to $600, Bill got up to $3600. But neither of us got jackpot we couldn't cash out. Since Bill was taking longer than I, I got bored and took $25 of my own money and played the coolest slot machine that kept giving me free spins and took me up to $145.00. So, I cashed out and went to Ann Taylor (which I could never afford if it was all my own money, now I will be warm for winter in my new sweaters)! And no I am not going to be addicted to it. A nurse from work gave me $20 and I lost it in like 2 minutes flat. What a waste. I couldn't beleive all the people there, with their eyes glazed over, starring at those machines hoping for money to come out, and they end up just wasting their own.

Here is the Effiel Tower behind us. He just got out of "O" a Cirque De Solei show at the Bellagio.
Water Show at the Bellagio
Fountain at Paris
Famous structure at Paris. I don't know what it is actually called though!
Bill at the driving range. That is all he wanted to do. No walking around on the strip or checking out all the awsome stores and (innocent) features Vegas has to offer. He just wanted to hit little white balls all weekend. For his b-day he got golf clubs with bag, tees, balls, a glove and a towel. And thanks to all his in-laws, has a nice chunk of change to go blow. Along with our trip to Vegas. Ummm, can you say spoiled?
My cousin Cory and his wife came out to dine with us at Planet Hollywood. They drove 2 hours each way just to hang out with Bill and I. Now what is wrong with the rest of you who can't do that? We had fun catching up with them, and glad that they came out.

Front page

Mormons make the front page of Sunday's Chicago Tribune. Read all about it. Pretty interesting.

Go Bears!

So, I bought these shirts for my cutest nephew and niece ever. I told their parents I would like a picture of both of them in the shirts, but they don't listen very well. Coby and Jayci, go put your parents in time out. They are very, very naughty. Good thing you have a grandpa who will post your pics for your #1 aunt to see.
